I constantly get “The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Invalid archive structure” when I try to upload Bricks to a new website. This has happened on several builds so far.
I have increased upload size, memory, etc. I have also tried re-zipping the files.
Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the issue and we don’t have any other reports about it.
Searching for the error on Google, there are several reasons for it:
I’ve also been getting this error on both my Wordpress sites (one on Hosting.com, one on Cloudways).
Every other theme and plugin works fine.
Speaking with Claude I’m increasing memory limit to 256M, executing time to 300, and restarting PHP-FM, hopefully fixes… NOPE Given every other plugin works, other themes install OK, there must be something unique about Bricks triggering this. Downloading the update manually works but I can’t keep doing that.
Extremely vanilla site. Just 5 plugins (Cloudways Site Manager, Regenerate Thumbnails, SEO Framework, Updraft Plus, Converter for Media).
@timmse - I suspect many people are getting this, but ignoring it until it becomes a real problem. I’ve been doing that for a few months now.
