WAIT: Offcanvas doesn’t close when clicking on backdrop – only closes when clicking inside

Bricks v 1.12.4

When opening an offcanvas element, it doesn’t close when clicking on the backdrop (the dark overlay behind the panel). Instead, it only closes when clicking on the background inside the offcanvas itself — which seems like unintended behavior.

This can confuse users, as the expected interaction is to close the offcanvas by clicking anywhere outside of it (i.e., on the backdrop).

At the moment, I don’t have a video to illustrate the bug, but I’ll upload it later to make it clearer.

Is there a known fix or workaround for this in Bricks Builder?

Thanks in advance!

Hello @waylayer,

I can’t reproduce the issue locally, so we will definitely need a video or even better - a live URL, where we can check what is happening.

Thank you.

Hi, sorry — the site is for adults, so I can’t share the URL. But I’ve made a video and attached it here.
