WAIT: Mini Cart - No Content in Mobile Flyout Unless on Woocommerce Page

Bricks Version: 1.5.6

Strange issue for me, only just noticed. The cart items inside the Mini Cart slide out do not show unless I am on a woocommerce page, like the Cart, Account, Shop, or Checkout page.

On all other non-woo pages, (the home page for example) the content of the mini cart slide-out is empty. Not even the VIEW CART and CHECKOUT buttons are visible even though I have items in my cart.

Thanks so much for your report!

Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the issue. Can you please disable all your plugins (except WooCommerce) and test if the problem persists?

I have the same issue. Suddenly the minicart is empty. No content at all. In the builder it is fine.

Unfortunately, I never got an answer from David on this.

Between 1.5.6 and the version you are using (probably 1.8.1?) are worlds apart and we need, as with any report, detailed information on how to reproduce the problem (I can’t find any problem in our dev installation).

Can you give me a link to the page? Maybe it is just a style problem.

Was this ever resolved or looked into at all?

I’m getting similar results on one of my site’s https://tamarvalleyvineyard.co.uk/

It was working great but now often appears empty. I worry it’s caching but it seems to do it when it’s off, too. If I wait a while or refresh the page enough, the items do show up, but it appears quite random.

As you can see from my last reply, we have not received any information on this since then. Unless we know how to cause the problem, we cannot fix it.

OK no worries. If you visit the URL above and add some products to the cart, it hopefully will show up.

That install is a very default Bricks one with the Woo cart, nothing too complicated I hope. ACSS and Frames, but the element is a Bricks one.

Hey Rob, Sorry for the late reply. Have you tried to add a new mini cart element and see if the issue persists? If so, please send temporary login credentials and a link to this thread to help@bricksbuilder.io

Also sorry for late reply. I have not yet, was the cart element updated at all?

It seems to be performing a bit better lately, but I’ll keep an eye on it :slight_smile:
