WAIT: Issues with 1.9.4 and JetEngine 3.3.1

Browser: Chrome 110
OS: macOS

I am having issues with Bricks 1.9.4 and JetEngine 3.3.1. I am working on a local site with localwp and when I enable JetEngine plugin I get the following errors:

key “object_type” in /Users/username/Local Sites/sitename/app/public/wp-content/themes/bricks/includes/integrations/dynamic-data/providers/provider-jetengine.php on line 109

Warning : Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /Users/username/Local Sites/site name/app/public/wp-content/themes/bricks/includes/integrations/dynamic-data/providers/provider-jetengine.php:109) in /Users/username/Local Sites/sitename/app/public/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 1431

I am using PHP 8.1.23 with nginx. The WordPress version is 6.4.2

I also tried older versions of the Bricks, but I still have the same issue.

With a brand-new installation, it seems that it works fine, so I suppose the problem may be related to the custom post types and the menu items.

After updating the custom post types with just an Edit and Save it seems that the problem was gone.

Do you also use Jet Engine custom taxonomies?

They no longer work for me. When I navigate to the archive pages of the taxonomies, I always get a Wordpress error.

For me it came with some update. I’m not sure whether it was WordPress, Bricks or JetEngine, as I noticed it too late

Hi @geochatz,

If different versions of Bricks produce the same issue, could that be a JetEngine 3.3.1 issue? Does downgrading help?

And did you create anything with JetEngine or is it just a fresh install?

Hi @ST90,

If the issue persists, please create a new forum thread with reproducible steps or get in touch with us at help@bricksbuilder.io with temporary admin access so we can investigate this further.

Hi @charaf

Thanks for the offer.
I think it is a JetEngine problem.

I am currently in contact with the Crocoblock support. There are 3-5 more bugs I found with JetEngine & JetSmartFilters.

Most errors can be temporary “fixed” by downgrading the plugin version of JE/JSF

Luckily they have an integrated rollback function in the plugin, which makes troubleshooting easier

Unfortunately there are currently more bugs

I wrote to them and they said it would be best to open a ticket

Therefore, it would be best if you open a ticket at Crocoblock
