The apostrophe character (') comes in as Õ on mobile only.

Hi,
Thanks so much for your report!

Unfortunately, I cannot see any issue on my iPhone using Safari

Best regards,
timmse

@timmse Here is a screenshot on my side:

Also another page of mine uses bullet points and it shows this:

But on that page ’ shows as '… weird

Hm… maybe it’s your device (which iOS/Safari version are you using)? Do you have the possibility to test with another iPhone or iPad? The charset (UTF-8) is correct, so there shouldn’t be any problems.

A similar (but more blatant) problem with gzip reference is reported here: safari - Website outputs strange character encoding - Stack Overflow

I don’t think the problem is related to Bricks. But you can simply test this by changing the theme and inserting apostrophes or lists.

@timmse I tested on iPhone XR 14.7.1 and on iPhone 12 16.3.1 both show the same issue.

I’m also not using any gzip compressions or anything like that.

I also downloaded Chrome on mobile and it also shows the same issue.

UPDATE: I was using the custom, WOFF2 format Inter family style. If I changed to Arial it fixed the issue. But I would like to understand why this is happening. Any advice?

Aaaah, then you are using a wrong version of the font that does not contain these characters. Please make sure you are using the latin or latin-ext version.

You can download the font again here - it should work:
