WAIT: Interactions problem - hide and show content - content disappears completely after third click in 1.8.3

I have two button to switch languages. First button “en”: if you click you can read the text in english. Then the “en” button is replaced by the second button “de”. If I click again, the button shows the text in german and the “en” buttons instead.
But if I click a third time, all text which have these relevant classes for english and german text disappears on the whole page.
The interaction settings are: trigger click > show element/hide element > css selector and the name of the class.

It is on my dev site, not the live site, but on the live site with Bricks 1.7.3 it works perfectly.

Tested on Chrome and Firefox.

Hey Berthold,

thanks for your report.

Where do I find the buttons on the page you provided?

Best,

André

Dear André,

It is nearly on every site, but on this one is easy to find:

I have attached a screenshot.
If you click 3 times on the button, all the text disappers

Thank you
Berthold

Dear André,

I tried to replicate the interaction problem with a more easier setup. Maybe you and the Bricks team finds it easier to examine and find the problem.

I put the example in the top section, and maybe you can have a look at it:

The interaction show and hide a text with the relevant css selector works.
As soon as i put a display none on the second text, the problem appears.

Thank you
Berthold

Dear André,

do you think, that the problem with the interaction I described above might have something to do with setting an element to display none?

I have found a temporary solution, if I use an interaction on the first button to hide the texts on CONTENT LOADED instead of using display none.

If possible, maybe you can check, if display none could cause a problem with interactions or if I am doing something wrong.

thank you

Berthold

Hey Berthold,

I somehow missed your latest answers on this report. Sorry for that!

Can you please send some temporary credentials to help@bricksbuilder.io so I can have a look at your exact setup? Please include a link to this forum report.

Best,

André
