After update to 1.9.9, as long as image have set link to - the aspect ratio doesn’t work on image but on link itself. When I delete linkage or roll back to Bricks 1.9.8 - everything’s fine, as you can see on second screenshot.
The Dev tools shows in Bricks 1.9.8 that aspect-ratio is apllied to an image below link itself, as it supposed to.

You are right that the aspect ratio now lands on the a, but this should not lead to problems. Can you give me a live link where I can see/inspect your setup/styles? You are welcome to use try.bricksbuilder.io, which is sufficient for a quick demo.
Alternatively, please use “copy all” in the upper right and share the json code it with me.
