WAIT: I can edit the page of Blog by Brick when it is a draft, after it is published, only a error of Invalid Post Type

Try to fix by

  • flushing permalinks: no use
  • cleaning cache: no use
  • WP sweep to clean no used data: no use
  • Disable plugins: no use
  • Disable bricks then switch to Blocksy: WordPress crashed, I have to use maintain mode to switch back.

New methods I have tried

  • Disable edit Posts in Bricks Settings: no use
  • Disable Save Bricks data as Gutenberg data: no use

Please help me, I have sent a email to help@bricksbuilder.io , you can use link to temp login.

Did you enable “posts” in the settings?

Disable that to stop editing blogs with bricks.

Thank you for sharing access. Do I have your permission to disable all plugins? (which ik you’ve already tried)

I’m not sure what’s wrong with that page in particular since it’s not even assigned as the blog page :face_with_monocle:

@charaf I am a new user of WordPress and Bricks, thank you for coming saving my life :rofl:

  • Yes, you can disable plugins, but I have to remind your temp link to login is by Temporary Login Without Password. Disable it, might lose the access? And temp link only works 7 days.
  • I would like to build an entry page of blog, you can find it blog in pages.

Hi @juan.in.camino,

This error is a common one in WordPress but not in the way it’s manifesting itself on your website haha.

So I disabled all plugins and then flushed rewrite rules by saving the permalink settings. That solved the issue and the builder loaded as expected. Then I enabled the plugins one by one and looks like Rank Math was the culprit.

I couldn’t find a similar report or the relevant Rank Math setting that could cause this though. Maybe you’ve changed a certain setting that you know may have caused it?

If you’re unable to locate the setting that may have caused this, you could also try reaching out to their support team and they may be able to give insights as to what would be leading to this.

If they mention that there’s something we should/can do on our side please let us know :slight_smile:

It is really weird because I changed nothing but only updated Rank Math few days ago, it never crossed my mind until you talk about it.

I will report this to them, if I get anything from them, I will publish it in forum.

Hello, Brickers!

After checked with Rank Math, I found this issue

  1. it might happens, when you create a new page when Rank Math is enabled. So if you disable Rank Math at first, then build the new page with Bricks with somethings, you could avoid issue next time.
  2. In fact, Rank Math help didn’t found what reason of the issue, but after disable Rank Math and clear cache might avoid it.
