WAIT: Empty terms showing, No results template NOT showing, access issues

I’ve got a few things going on on this page: https://exploreclairemont.com/events/

I have empty terms set to not show, yet they are showing. I have the no results template set, but it is NOT showing when someone clicks on an empty term—that shouldn’t be showing anyways.

I keep sporadically getting this message telling me I don’t have access when I’m signed in as admin. It’s starting to get worse.

Hi @sportyspice,

Let’s go over them:

I was not able to replicate this locally. Can you make sure that the terms are really empty (no posts attached), and “show empty” is disabled?

The “No results” template will show if there are no Terms. Since you have them, it will not show.

Yep, that’s a bug. The issue was reported here and it will be solved with next release. It’s just a notice that shows when it shouldn’t (on page load), and it’s not really limiting your builder access. WIP: Minor Builder rendering issue in Bricks 2.0

So here’s a couple screenshots–you can see for my terms, for example, charity has zero, but it’s showing on the front end.

Then, this new thing just happened. I’m using Bricksable and it’s telling me I don’t have the capability to access settings. I’m assuming this might be related to those other random access messages I’m getting in Bricks?

Hi @sportyspice,

thank you for the screenshot. I would like to check this, because I can’t replicate it. So, I would like to ask you if you can you send temporary login credentials to your test/staging website and a link to this topic to help@bricksbuilder.io using the email address you used during the purchase, so we can take a look?
I would prefer a staging one so that I can disable all plugins and change settings, if needed.

Thank you,
Matej

Sounds good. I’ll send it over.
