The following issue only appears when editing the home page, and no other pages. The canvas and structure panel are empty. However, the home page shows all proper styling on the front end and properly serves styling to visitors. I am unable to see and edit any elements from the back end.
Note #1: When a new element is clicked on from the elements panel, the Structure Panel loads and the element is added onto the empty Structure Panel with no existing elements. To repeat, all styling is properly being served on the front end, despite the empty Structure Panel.
Note #2: When the default home page is changed on WordPress to another page, that new Home Page is perfectly editable, while the removed home page (original troubled page) remains empty. The issue seems to follow this particular page, and not other pages designated as the home page.
Note #3: Downgraded to Bricks 1.9.9 and issue persists.
Attached are screenshots of the Browser Console for the home page in question, as well as another page for comparison.
Hey Matej, thank you for reaching out and taking the time of day.
I disabled code execution in the Bricks setting, refreshed the troubled page in Bricks Builder, and the issue remained with an empty canvas and structure panel.
To answer your question, yes, the issue is only on one page. The page in question is my current homepage. However, if I change the default homepage in WordPress’s settings, the troubled page remains troubled and the new set homepage is fine. The issue appears to follow that specific page.
thank you for additional info. I would like to take a look at this, so can you send temporary login credentials to your website and a link to this thread to help@bricksbuilder.io using the email address you used during the purchase, so we can take a look?
I believe this will be the easiest way to identify the issue. And if you have a staging website, I would prefer a staging one, because I would like to test by disabling plugins and by installing a plugin, that will enable me to access the database.
