WAIT: Canvas blocked in specific slug

Bricks Version: 1.5
Browser: Chrome 104
OS: Windows 11

Hello there Bricks community!

I’ve created a page, start editing it just fine, but when I uploaded a SVG icon, the page froze and I couldn’t do anything.

So I went back to admin panel > pages and tried to delete the page and start over, but for some reason the canvas is blocked, wont show any elements:

What I noticed is that only happens in that specific SLUG, if I create another page with different slug, everything works just fine.

Things that I’ve tried:

  • Delete anything related to the slug in PhpMyAdmin in the post and postmeta table
  • Delete the SVG file from the upload folder
  • Save the permalinks again
  • Enable and use “delete bricks data” in that specific page
  • Create a new page with different slug, open it with Bricks, works fine, save it, and change the slug the the previous one… it doesn’t work.

I’m out of options here, I really need to use that slug, otherwise I wouldn’t mind.

UPDATE: I’ve changed the slug in Settings > Permalinks > Plain and now I can open it, but when I change it back to Post Name there is that blue screen again…

Is there any way to reset the permalinks from Bricks? I’ve read the documentation but I can’t find anything related

I can’t quite figure it out: is the problem now the slug (whose name you won’t reveal) or the SVG? :smiley:

  1. Please tell me the name of the slug, so I can test if it causes issues for me as well.
  2. Please share the SVG if it’s still a problem.

I lost track of the SVG, the slug was “google-ads” but I don’t think that you can reproduce the problem

Is weird because when I have a page with “google-ads” slug, when is PUBLISHED Bricks wont load the editor, but when I change it to “PENDING REVIEW” or “DRAFT” the editor works just fine and I’m able to edit the page as usual. When I proceed to click “PUBLISH”, the editor wont work.

Anyway, I’ve changed the slug a little bit because I’m not able to find the problem and I need to keep working.

Maybe you have a post or taxonomy (Category, Tag) with the same slug?

nope, it is a clean wordpress installation and there is nothing else created besides 3 pages, I wish I could reproduce the problem so you guys could fix it… If it happens again I’ll let you know
