WAIT: Background Images do not load in Facebook browser

The site works fine on desktop or mobile normal browsers. When accessed through Facebook’s app, the background images don’t load. (FB page link - Hotel Stry | Amherstburg ON)

Hey Elena,

as far as I can tell on my device (iPhone 11 Pro) all the images are loaded properly in the Facebook browser: Video uploaded to CleanShot Cloud.

Hi,

I can reproduce this on my Android phone. I think it’s happening because the background image is loaded over HTTP, so that’s why it’s not loading it:

How do i updated this?
I’ve update the site to all https - the image URLs when i check them in the media gallery are showing as https?

could it be a cache issue?

Could be caching. Please try to clear the cache.

You can try to set the same image as a background for some other container, and then you can check if the image there is still HTTP, or it’s https.
