I have a dynamic ACF value inserted into the RAW field of Bricks. Initially, everything works as expected, but after some time, the value disappears and is replaced by a color variable.
My goal is to keep the ACF value there since I want to dynamically set the header color in the backend using the ACF color picker.
Does anyone have an idea why the value keeps resetting? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
Reports that contain sudden changes “… after some time…” can be traced back to caching in most cases. Are you using caching? If so, disable it and test again.
If the problem still occurs, please show your setup in detail and/or provide concrete replication steps.
I can confirm that I am not using any caching. I only install WP Rocket at the very end when the website is delivered to the client, so caching is not the issue in this case.
Here’s my setup:
I created a custom color picker field with ACF for specific pages
This field allows to define the header color for each page
First, I created a CSS class and assigned it to the header section
Then, I set the background color for this class dynamically using the ACF field
Let me know if you need any more details or if I should test something else.
