Hi Bricks Team and Community,
With WooCommerce heavily modernizing its transactional email system (introducing block-based email structures and syncing metadata), it is becoming clear that the future of email customization is visual.
Currently, styling WooCommerce emails (Order Completed, Processing, Custom Receipts) to match a brand’s identity created in Bricks requires either complex custom PHP templates, raw HTML coding, or heavy third-party plugins (like YayMail, Mailpoet, or BricksExtras).
The Feature Request:
I would love to see a native Bricks Email Builder (or a dedicated “Email” Template Type).
How it could work:
- A new template type called “Email”.
- Inside the builder, we would have access to standard structure elements (Divs, Text, Images, Buttons) that are automatically compiled into email-safe HTML (inline styles, tables under the hood where necessary for Outlook/Gmail compatibility).
- Specialized WooCommerce Email dynamic tags (e.g.,
{woo_order_items},{woo_order_total},{woo_billing_address}) to fetch order data inside the email loop.
Why this is a game-changer for Bricks:
- True Design Consistency: We could design everything from the product page, checkout, and up to the client’s inbox within one single visual ecosystem.
- Performance: No need for bulky layout-heavy email customizer plugins that bloat the database.
- Market Edge: Bricks would become the absolute ultimate suite for WooCommerce developers, leaving other builders far behind in terms of full-funnel customization.
Would love to hear your thoughts on this, and hopefully, we can get this on the official Ideas Board!
Thank you!
