Use Bricks Lightbox In Gutenberg

I have tried to use a 3rd party plugin to use Lightbox on my Gutenberg post images but it conflicts with Bricks.

What’s the easiest way to get Lightbox to work in this case? Is it possible to use the same Lightbox as found in the Bricks editor?

Thanks

Hey, I’ve been using Happyfiles Pro gallery in Gutenberg recently to have the lightbox feature, but one drawback is that I can’t find a way to modify the layout for different breakpoints (typically the number of columns).

I know I’m not helping you much with this comment, since it’s not perfect, but still if you’re using Happyfiles already, I recommend you try the happyfiles gallery block that’s available to you in Gutenberg. It might be enough for your needs !

Hey Louis

I may give that a try - appreciate the tip. Looks like it is more for galleries - Im sorta after single images in post

Hi

try this:

Very small, works perfectly.

Just select Link toMedia File for all of your galleries & images in Gutenberg.

Thanks for the tip, that looks fantastic.

I’m happy using the happyfiles gallerie in my bricks rendred pages, but in Gutenberg I always felt there was this issue regarding responsiveness.

I’ll try this plugin out, might be a perfect solution.

Hi

WordPress 6.4 has now a built-in lightbox.
