Steps to re-create - (this is using Bricks playground running the lastest Bricks version)
1 - create a basic component e.g a block with a heading inside.
2 - create a variant - eg give the block a blue background.
3 - place an instance of the variant on the page - selecting the base component, not the variant.
4 - unlink this component - the base component reverts to the variant with blue background
5 - check the front end - component displays as base component as it should
6 - save and reload the builder - unlinked component still displays as the variant whilst rendering on the front end as the base version.
Seems to occur on any page the component is used and then unlinked.
Renders as expected on the front end but in the builder displays the variant rather than the base when unlinked and this persists even after reloading the builder page.
