I’m one of the developers of Frontman, a WordPress.org agentic visual editor, trying to provide base44/lovable like experience for existing wordpress sites.
I’m not posting this as a “launch” thread. I’m trying to test how it behaves on real Bricks sites and learn what compatibility issues matter to Bricks users.
Current scope:
-
Works through WordPress admin auth.
-
Uses local PHP tool calls through WordPress, not remote filesystem access.
-
Can inspect/edit normal WordPress content like posts, pages, blocks, media, menus, options, templates/template parts, widgets, cache, and some builder content.
-
Elementor support exists; Bricks-specific behavior is what I want feedback on.
What I’m looking for:- Does it understand Bricks-built pages well enough to help?
- Which edits are safe/useful?
- Which Bricks structures should we avoid touching?
- What would make this actually useful in a Bricks agency/dev workflow?

If anyone here is willing to try it on a staging/local Bricks site, I’d love blunt feedback.
i’m happy to support if things dont work or unclear.
