SVG element (using the code option) not showing on frontend

I’ve added an SVG element to the header of my website. Rather than upload the SVG to my media library, I added it as code. It works as expected, so long as I’m logged into WP. Otherwise, it’s not there. Not even the code when inspecting in the browser. What am I missing?

No I’ve haven’t. I somewhat understand the concept, but how do I go about this for SVG code? I’m checking documentation now, but I can’t find exactly where to sign.
