Support for a full font / colour style library

Hi guys.

I decided to look into Bricks after running into performance issues with Elementor. Everything is nice and snappy and the feature set seems rather complete. It is kind of exciting to see such a peformant theme / page builder solution, especially on built on Vue.

I have started to create a mock project that is heavy on typography and design elements and I would like to create a font library of arbitrary length (say 30 font styles) and a colour library of arbitrary length (say 20 colour styles).

Elementor allows us to set the default colour and font styles + add our own style to extend beyond the defaults. The wonderful thing about this feature is that it allows editors to have global font and colour palette control and for contributors simply need to create new posts or pages and select the named font style within Elementor for the object they are working with to easily keep the entire site look and feel unified.

Does Bricks have this capability? Are there any workarounds? Are there any extensions that allow for this? Has this been discussed / considered before?

I have:

  • Checked the documentation
  • Googled
  • Searched the forums here

I have not seen any discussion of this in any significant way.

Thanks.

I know what you are saying it is not same here.

there is multiple way to solve that in bricks.

probably best way is global classes.

Oh I see. Interesting. Just finished creating a batch of classes, this should suffice. Interesting, thanks for the heads up, I would not have clued into this on my own. I imagine this will gain an easier interface to manage in the future. Neat.

Thank you.
