Hi everyone,
I’ve been trying to tackle this problem on and off for a couple years now (not kidding) and I’m just not seeing a solution. I haven’t posted about it before because we were only attempting it recreationally while we kept an eye on Bricks’ development.
Now that we are about to start the redesign in earnest, I’m looking for help.
Quick context:
We want to migrate our current eLearning site off of BuddyBoss + Elementor + LearnDash, and use only Bricks + LearnDash. The motivation is purely about load speed.
The trouble that has always stopped us is that we can’t get Bricks designs to show up in LearnDash focus mode. It defaults to Gutenberg.
The only promising lead we’ve ever found has been a barebones template (section + container + post content) for each post type (courses, lessons, topics) but this isn’t a robust enough solution because we still can’t style individual elements within each lesson (etc) using Bricks.
I understand we can use Gutenberg instead but… well… I don’t want to I want to use Bricks.
Has anyone else run into this?
Is there a way to force LearnDash (in focus mode) to use a Bricks layout?
