I noticed that my Stripe Payments no longer work after testing the latest Woo update and Bricks. If I change the theme to Storefront, Stripe payments work fine. When Bricks is enabled, I can’t process Stripe payments. I guess it’s related to the outdated checkout files.

May I know you are using which Bricks version?
I am trying the stripe payment locally everything is good.
Do you have any other WooCommerce plugins activated?
Can you check the error log in WooCommerce > Status > Logs?

All is working again. In the cart template, I had turned off country and this was causing it. It was working previously without this field, but now it doesn’t. Anyway, not a problem, turning it back on fixed it for me.

any eta about this new release?
Hi guys,
We’ve fixed this issue in Bricks 1.9.8 beta, now available as a manual download in your account (see changelog).
Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.
As with any beta release, please do not use it on a production or live website. It is only meant for testing in a local or staging environment.
If your site is live and you encounter issues with the current WooCommerce version, please downgrade WooCommerce until the 1.9.8 stable version is released.
Just to know, is it possible just to copy-paste the archive-product.php from the beta release to my Bricks Child Theme?
Is this enough to correct the problem while waiting for the next release of the Bricks?
I have trying this in a sandbox but I don’t have configure all Woocommerce pages with Bricks on it actually.

For this version, yes you can do that. 
But remember to remove that after updated to stable release.

I had a similar issue with the Checkout. When using the Stripe Legacy form it was fine but was getting JS errors when using the New Checkout Experience. Turning the address2 and phone fields back on fixed the issue but I still need to remove them from the checkout. Had to do it using filters, ie, "add_filter( ‘woocommerce_checkout_fields’ , ‘not_required_fields’, 9999 );
Then it would work. There is something in how the builder removes the fields that the Stripe plugin doesn’t like.
Still getting out of date templates on 8.8.2 and 1.9.8 beta. Upgrading woo to 8.8.3 doesn’t fix either.

Are we any closer in looking to see if the woo templates can be manually updated by themselves. Perhaps providing the templates as a standalone in our account to download and replace.
This is happening everytime there is a Woo or Bricks update and it seems things are always out of sync. No fault of the Bricks team as Woo does their own thing but there has to be another solution to getting these templates updated and released more quickly than waiting for a new Bricks version which has now gone back to a random release cycle. it was “OK” when we were on the 2 week release cycle but for reasons that was not sustainable.

I agree with @dan . It’s challenging to juggle updates in the long run and decide of which fix to skip
Additionally, with 1.9.8 public release, the problem still exists. Updating WooC didn’t help.

Based on your screenshot, that outdated template is coming from your child theme folder. Kindly check that and update your custom template. It’s not coming from Bricks theme.

Unfortunately, I am not able to see this message on the latest 1.9.8 version. Can you please check if any object cache or template cache mechanism applied on your website? Please try to clear the template cache in WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Clear template cache
Alternatively, please re-download from https://my.bricksbuildr.io and re-install the 1.9.8

Thank you Jenn, I had already tried clearing the cache, but a fresh reinstall of 1.9.8 helped! ( I still think it was a cache issue or something similar)
EDIT: Anyone still having outdated template problems, I suggest you try @itchycode’s advice, try re-download and re-install 1.9.8 from bricksbuilder.io
