SOLVED: Value of hidden form fields displays in the HTML

There appears to be a rather nasty bug in Bricks whereby the value of a hidden form field is output in the HTML content:

I sent an email about this one with more details, but thought it serious enough to highlight it here too.

Hi @jamie,

please update to 2.1.1 and the issue should be solved. It’s also not needed to report problems here and via the email, as we monitor both and one is enough. Otherwise it might happen that two of us simultaneously work on the same issue, not knowing about the other one.

Please let me know if 2.1.1 resolves the issue.

Thanks @Matej 2.1.1 resolves it.

I would usually report in one channel, but I didn’t see any other reports on the forum and thought people should be aware before upgrading.

Thank you for the response. I’m glad that 2.1.1 resolves it.

Ps. We just released the 2.1.2 hotfix that I suggest you upgrade to - it includes a few further adjustments and fixes (unrelated to this one though).
