SOLVED: Upgrade to Bricks 2.x from 1.12.4 with WPML doesn't work

Hello everyone,

I am running Bricks on version 1.12.4 and tried to upgrade to V2.
Whenever I upgrade the templates don’t work anymore. My feeling is that it doesn’t work due to WPML.

Is that a known thing? How can I upgrade to the latest version without my whole website crushing?

Hi @denzel ,

Please elaborate more, like what is not working. Header? Footer? Individual post? Query loop? Query Filters? Styles?

Does any error message occur?

Without accurate information, it’s hard for us to assist.

It seems like I figured it out.
With 2.3 the following approach worked:

  1. Upgrade to 2.3
  2. Go to WMPL Troubleshooting
  3. Click on “Set language information” and aftewards “Fix post type assignment for translations”
  4. Open the templates, in some I had to click “Clean Up” and save them again.

Then it worked.
