SOLVED: Theme styles reset to none after saving page

Bricks Version: 1.5RC
Browser: Safari Version 15.6 (17613.3.9.1.5)
OS: macOS

Create a custom theme style and saved it. after applying it is visible and active in the editor, but once you save the page and check the page the theme styles are not applied. after refreshing the editor theme styles reset to empty and all the styles are reverted to default on the page.

Hi zemdei,
Thanks so much for your report!

Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the issue using 1.5 RC. Are you sure you’ve applied a condition to your theme styles? If not, they won’t show after reloading the builder.

Best regards,
timmse

Hi thank you for checking. What do you mean applied a condition? If you mean have I set some custom styles in my theme then yes I did absolutely I changed some colors and fonts.
I will gladly show you the example we can schedule a zoom call or something just let me know how we can make that happen.
Thank you.

He means have you set conditions on your theme styles? It’s a common mistake. Happened to me when I first started messing around. If you don’t set any conditions, then your theme styles wont actually be used on any pages/posts.

Oh god, so sorry for posting this, this is definitely the case, I did not set the condition.

However, considering that this usually happens to some people it tells you that this may be a little counter-intuitive approach to styles, maybe just set the default condition to the whole website or something?

There is one issue that I see after setting the theme condition it works now, but the heading font family is not working. I have nunito sans set on all headings, not on individual headings, and it works well in the builder but after saving all the headings revert to some default font

In the builder:

Hey @zemdei ,
Sorry for the late reply.

The heading issue is already on the list and will be fixed in the next version.
I’ll mark this thread as solved, as the original problem was about the missing condition.
