SOLVED: Theme rendering issues when editing post content in bricks

Browser: Chrome
OS: Windows
Video: https://fb.watch/xAC41L0s6_/

Video shows it best, basically I am getting parts of the post theme not rendering when editing a post/page/cpt in bricks, editing the theme file itself it renders fine and renders fine live on the frontend. It is almost like it is not loading some css in the editor

Hi Sam,
Thanks for your report!

Let me try to break down your setup based on the video:

  • You are using a single template for your custom post type
  • In this template you probably placed a post content element (source Bricks)
  • Now you edit the post directly with Bricks (not the template), and see that some styles are not displayed correctly

If I’m on the right track so far: the styles that are not displayed correctly/completely missing are on classes, not IDs, right?

Best regards,
timmse

Yes to all of that, in fact I just did a test, for one of the titles that was missing styles I copied the class styles to the id and then saved and they then apeared while editing the post so it looks like only styles on classes are not displaying.

Ok, great! I’ve created a task to tackle the issue
