SOLVED: Strange rendering, jumping behaviour things look different/wrong until refresh

Browser: Chrome 110
OS: macOS / Windows / Linux / etc.
URL: Link to a page that illustrates this issue
Video: Short screen recording that illustrates this issue (free tool: jam.dev)

[Please describe this bug in as much detail as possible so we can replicate & debug this bug]

  1. Please see here - class/style is larger font centered. But in the builder depending what/where I click it creates off rendering behaviour Jam

  2. Also on this page, using WPGB facets (seen it with shortcodes for forms and form sections too) they seem to keep disappearing/reappearing in builder - and the query loop is only pulling some images and not all thumbnails (sorry, may have already shared this on another thread but related I think to the rendering in the builder): Jam

TIA

  1. FYI - just tried to change this image in the builder, first 5 were fine, 6th one (after being cloned from the 5th, not sure if the clone thing is related) then flashes and doesn’t update, and if I click off, it just stops flashing:

If I save and refresh the builder, the image will show as the correct one.

Hi Rob,
Thanks for your report!

  1. I can’t see any issue (I used the login credentials you sent a week ago via email): CleanShot 2024-06-05 at 11.37.23 · CleanShot Cloud

  2. i don’t know if you have already reported the problem in another thread. Does it only occur since 1.9.9 beta, or already in a previous version? Has WPGB been updated in the meantime and did it work with the previous version?

  3. That’s a known issue: WIP: Preview/editor bugs

Thanks @timmse

Yeah you’re likely not seeing that issue now, it seems to be intermittent. I have reported things in others too so I will try and keep things in the right tickets.

  1. Typical, seems fine now. It was definitely bugging out yesterday, and I’ve been seeing this on other instances too (cloning/pasting) where one refresh, it’s fine, 4 or 5 refreshes laters, it decides it’s not going to render correctly again.

  2. I will keep the other threads updated as closely related to the those issues as I can. Yes it’s only been since 1.9.9beta for sure. I think both above points are related to the the rendering issue in point 3 TBH.

  3. Thanks

Hi guys,

We’ve fixed this issue in Bricks 1.10 beta, now available as a manual download in your account (see changelog).

Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

As with any beta release, please do not use it on a production/live website. It is only meant for testing in a local or staging environment.

Best regards,
M
