SOLVED: Session expired text printed when Formidable form AJAX enabled

New clean site with Bricks Builder v1.7.2 + LiteSpeed Cache. When I edit anything in Bricks Builder or create a new template/page I get an error:

session expired

Please login again.

The login page will open in a new window. After logging in, you can close the window and return to the current page.

but when I disable the LiteSpeed Cache plugin the message disappears

Please tell me how to solve the problem?

Hi Karen,
You can try to exclude the Builder from caching:

Add this query parameter to Litespeed Settings » Cache » Exlude » Do not cache query strings:

?bricks=run

Also, disable “Cache logged-in Users”:

After that, purge the litespeed and browser cache, and Let me know if it helps.

timmse

timmy thanks for your feedback, I did everything you suggested, but it didn’t help me ((is there another version? I will be very grateful to you!

Hey Karen,
Hmmm…

Have you tested it with another theme and seen if you get logged out there? If so, it’s not a Bricks problem. If necessary, you can also ask Litespeed support, while I ask our developers for advice. Deal?

Encountered the same problem when submitting simple Formidable Form with AJAX.
It’s definitely something with Bricks+AJAX as switching to default theme gets rid of the issue.
Not using any caching. This session expired info appears, but in reality the user is still logged in and the submission is saved in DB. Not sure how to debug this.

I have the same issue here with formidable forms… Is there any solution for this?

Hi @gosustyle & @fsu ,
Would you be so kind as to send temporary login credentials and a link to this thread to help@bricksbuilder.io using the email address you used during the purchase?

Hi @timmse
Sent you the credentials.

Hi guys,

We’ve fixed this issue in Bricks 1.9.8 beta, now available as a manual download in your account (see changelog).

Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

As with any beta release, please do not use it on a production or live website. It is only meant for testing in a local or staging environment.

I have been getting the same issue and I just tired 1.9.8-beta and am still seeing the session expired message.

Hi Luke,
Welcome to the forum!

Please send temporary login credentials and a link to this thread to help@bricksbuilder.io using the email address you used during the purchase.

I’m in 1.9.9 and getting the Session expired message as well.

Cache plugins are deactivated, and no “formidable forms” here.

Hi @paquito ,
Then your problem is not the one originally reported here

Please send temporary login credentials, information on where/when we can see the issue, and a link to this thread to help@bricksbuilder.io using the email address you used during the purchase.
