Hey Chris,
Not tested the RC yet, but do you mean it does not scroll at all or it scrolls to the wrong element in the panel.
I am guessing you have already checked, but I am guessing you checked it was not some weird glitch that switched off the control in Bricks settings when updating to the RC.
When you click on an item in the Structure panel, it does indeed scroll to the correct element in the editor.
But the inverse doesn’t work. When you click on an item in the editor the structure panel doesn’t scroll to highlight the element you’re working on. This is especially problematic when the Structure panel is long and the item is out of view.
Works both ways for me.
Hi Chris,
Thanks so much for your report!
Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the issue. What browser and operating system are you using (we ask these questions in a bug report for a reason ) ?
Best regards,
timmse

I will try a fresh Incognito window now.
Same here: works perfectly fine
Here’s a quick video:
Are you testing on a page that has a Structure panel long enough to be out of view?
Thanks for the video! I understand what you mean, but… Attention: the example page is ugly as hell but very long
Do you have any error messages in the developer console?
Yeah, that’s how it should work. But it’s not doing that here.
Will check the Developer Console now.
Did this setting change it’s default? Or has it always been off and I’m just noticing all this now? LOL
Turning this on activates the behavior I was looking for.
We can mark this as “SOLVED”.
It’s always been off by default. IMO it should be on by default.
Agreed.
But I feel like it was “reset”.
Anyhow, I got it now.
Case “Solved”.
