SOLVED: Reordering elements in structure panel causes duplicates and linked elements + Revisions preview glitch

Bricks Version: 1.2
Browser: Edge 90+
OS: Windows

I have just converted one of the sites build with Bricks to 1.2 and I have started to fix the layout, however, I found a few problems with the structure panel:

  1. When trying to get an inner-container out of the “row” middle container and put it under the main container, it will work for the first container but duplicate and misbehave for the second one.
  2. When Removing the “duplicated” container it will also remove the other one like they are linked between them
  3. When editing a few elements in the page and alt-tabbing / ctrl-tabbing after a bit of time the “reordering” of the structure panel elements doesn’t work anymore, I cannot drag-drop elements anymore.
  4. The rearranged elements will not show up properly in the preview.
  5. The Revisions will have a glitch when trying to preview them but once I apply them the preview refreshes and show up correctly.

I have recorded a quick video to illustrate the problems 1,2,4 and 5: (forgot to mention the 3-rd problem in the video)

Getting back to this unusual Structure Panel issue, I have found a workaround which also shows up another bug I guess, and that is that it moves the element (container in this case) to the container above as a child instead of allowing it to be next to the original “container” that I copied as I would expect to normally be.

Here is a loom where I explain this and show how it works:

Hello @cristianuibar thank you for reporting this issue.

We are still investigating it. This is most probably a bug with the migration tool.

Hello @cristianuibar
Thank you again for allowing us to check your WP installation and find the root cause of this bug. It was a minor bug on the migration tool that was causing the situation reported.
The coming Bricks release will contain a fixed migration tool. As soon as we release it, you would need to migrate the content again so that the structure gets properly created.
