SOLVED: Quey filter use on post category and tag taxonomy pages reset on each filter call

I’ve tried this in v1-9-8 as well as 1-9-9-beta. No plugins installed just Bricks Theme.

I have basic post loop on archive page. Using Filter - Select widget.

Target query: Post Query
Apply on: Input/Submit
Action: Sort

Sort options does not matter.

When try to sort query on frontend query is refreshed and gets back all posts in new order.

This seems to happen only on archive query. I’ve tried to find similar report but no luck so far.

Please may I know if you are on default post category/tag pages?

Yes, it is a confirmed bug and will be fixed in1.9.9 stable version.

This bug can be triggered on default post category/post tag taxonomy pages.
