I just stumbled upon an issue when trying to use a dynamic “child of” value in a query loop. In my setup there is a page “Lieferprogramm” which has three child pages:

On the parent page there is a query loop to query and output all the child pages:

This works as expected – but only on the frontend. In the builder it outputs “random” pages. If I use the page’s static ID instead of the dynamic data tag everything works as expected – even in the builder:

Hi @aslotta,

thank you for your report. I replicated it locally and I’ve added it to our internal bug tracker.

Hi @aslotta ,

We’ve fixed this in Bricks 1.12 BETA, now available as a manual download (Bricks – Account)

Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

You can see the full changelog here: Bricks 1.12 Changelog – Bricks

As with any beta release, please do not use it on a production/live website. It is only meant for testing in a local or staging environment.

Best regards,
Matej
