SOLVED: Populate content selector showing invalid entities for the chosen type

When editing a template of any type e.g single and using the populate content to pick a particular post to be shown in the preview it’s hard because when searching for particular post/page it’s also showing unrelated ‘media’ type with the same title/content. But only post should be shown here.

Thanks for the report.

This is better handled as an improvement: the Populate Content selector should be easier to scope to the intended preview context. Media attachments still need to remain available for attachment templates, but they can be noisy when you’re trying to pick a normal post/page/CPT preview item.

We’ve added this to our internal tracker as an improvement.
