SOLVED: Pagination without AJAX renders pages 404 not found

For SEO-purposes I was trying to set the pagination element to function without AJAX. But page2, page3, etc. are now ‘not found’. I emptied cache, database cleanup and saved permalinks again (and again) without any result.

If yes, did you tick “Is main query”?
