SOLVED: Offcanvas does not close when clicking a Text Link Menu Item

I do not know if this is intended behaviour and if I need to solve this using interactions.
However, in 1.8.6 the offcanvas was closing automatically when clicking a text link and that would be the expected behaviour in my opinion.
