SOLVED: Nestable Elements do not show on canvas with "Disable WP REST API render" enabled

Browser: Chrome

I had a functional Nested slider using Frames Hero India section and standard settings.
After updating and regenerating CSS, the slider is not showing any contents backend, but ok frontend.

The Hero India Section works ok when not put into the slider.
No cache.

Using ACSS/FRAMES

I saw the same, for the native nestable elements. Turning off the ‘Disable WP REST API render’ setting prevents it, so that seems to be where the issue is.

Yeah did the trick here too.

Hi Dan,

Hi @timmse ,

do you plan to release a hotfix 1.7.1 or will it be fixed in e.g. 1.8?

Thanks and best regards
Michael

There will definitely be no hotfix for this. Deactivate the setting and the problem is solved for the time being.

ok … thanks for quick feedback!

Hi guys,
We’ve fixed this bug in Bricks 1.7.2, now available as a one-click update in your WordPress Dashboard.
Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

Ps: For 99% of all users, there is no reason to activate the option. It does not bring you a performance boost or a better/faster builder experience.

Best regards,
