Not 100% sure this is a bug but we’re having an issue with mega menus on mobile which appears to only happen with Android phones. When a user scrolls down the menu reloads or flashes. Then they have to scroll down again. If you scroll back up, it does the same thing. This wasn’t happening last week. As we were testing the one site getting it ready to launch. I have linked to two screen captures showing what is happening.
So I had a look both on desktop and android phone and all looks fine to me. I do see that you are using automatic css, have you reached out to them as well?
No, sorry … not happening to me at this end. I do however see a lot going on with your mobile menu with a lot of different classes, so if some folks are seeing that flickering, then there might be a css conflict somewhere. I do see that accordion and the content within that accordion to be styled by automactic css, so that is why I suggested them as well.
shingen, I have submitted on the Automatic CSS group. Quick question, where you testing on Android or IOS? It appears to only happen with Android. Just curious what you were using.
I checked on both my Mac and Windows, then I checked on my Android phone and didn’t see the issue that your screen captured showed.
The thing is, it should not matter whether someone is on a desktop, laptop, or phone. The css is all the same other then the media breakpoints. One is not using different technologies based on devices.
No… I understand that. Just seemed odd. It works find on most devices for me but I have had issues on mobile and had enough other people test that it is a concern. Just trying to track down what the factor is so I can avoid it.
Yah I get that. My first feelings is that it is a CSS conflict, as there is a lot going on for a fairly basic mobile navigation. I know automatic CSS has been known to cause some conflicts, so that is why I suggested that as well.
Can you provide admin access to your staging site so we can test a potential fix for this issue?
