SOLVED: Metabox Custom Fields ignored after update to Metabox AIO 2.0

Hello!

Don’t know if you’re aware, but Metabox just released an upgrade for paying customers. We don’t have to have the repository free plugin installed anymore, as the Metabox framework is included in the Metabox All In One premium plugin.

This might be an easy fix, but it also might be affecting other parts of the Bricks - Metabox integration that I’m not aware of. For now, what I’ve identified is that, if you uninstall the free plugin, the metadata is working just fine, but the Filters “Provider” field shown below, doesn’t detect Metabox as a provider anymore, and the filters stop working.

Let me know if you need more info.

Hi @blureogroup,

thank you for getting in touch with us. Yep, I can confirm the issue and I’ve added it to our internal bug tracker. For now, please keep “Meta Box” plugin active. According to their docs, it should not cause any issues.

Thank you.

Well, it doesn’t really work in version 1.12.3 My case: checkbox_list and query loop. Dynamic field {echo:get_mb_checkbox_list_listid}. Works only if Meta Box and Meta Box AIO are installed. After switching off Meta Box loop does not work.

same problem here. my whole site stopped displaying fields until i reinstalled the free plugin

Hi @tjockis,

are you using 1.12.3 version? Does all dynamic tags stopped working, or only some? If only some, which ones?

Thanks,
Matej
