When changing the margin by using the up arrow, it starts at -998.

Thank you so much for reporting this issue, Bonnie. That was because the margin “min” value is set to “-999” by default. We’ll provide a fix in 1.2 (RC2) 
The new logic will work like this: When there is no previous value, pressing the “up” arrow will set the value to 1, and when pressing the “down” arrow the value will be set to “-1” and so on.
