SOLVED: Loading Issue After Updating Bricks Builder from Version 1.8.4 to 1.8.5

Hi,

I met after performing an update of Bricks Builder from version 1.8.4 to version 1.8.5.

Following this update, I am encountering a loading issue with my models. When I attempt to load a model using Bricks Builder 1.8.5, the page remains completely blank, and no content appears. I have checked my environment configuration multiple times, and I can confirm that this issue occurred right after the update.

Hi @Lenglemetz,

Thank you for your report. Can you please share more information that would help me replicate the issue you’re now facing with 1.8.5? A video recording would be much appreciated  Clearing the cache can also potentially help.

Best regards,
Charaf

I am having the exact same issue. I tried to re-download the plugin as mentioned by Tomas, but all I get is a blank screen and the builder does not load on any sites. Tried disabling all plugins and still have the same error. Had to revert all my client sites back to 1.8.4.

I’ve gone through several steps to troubleshoot the Bricks Builder loading issue, but unfortunately, the loading remains stuck on a blank page.

I’ve deactivated plugins, reset Bricks Builder, and cleared caches, but the problem persists, and this is happening on all of my websites.

If you have any suggestions to resolve this issue, I’m open to trying them out. I also plan to create a video tomorrow when I have some time to better illustrate the problem.

Hi, the logins have been sent by email for DonF

Hi @Lenglemetz ,

Thank you so much for the login details.
Identified the problem as some conflict with the Webp Express plugin.
We already found the solution and temporary fix on your dev site.

Hello @itchycode, thank you very much!

@Lenglemetz If you should experience this issue again with the WebP Express plugin enabled, please try using the “Use content filtering hooks (the_content, the_excerpt, etc)” option under the “Alter HTML” settings section here:

The currently selected “The complete page (using output buffering)” option can trigger a template_redirect by WebP Express, resulting in the builder not loading. It’s also less performant and quite severe in its approach.
