On this page I have a hero section (for this test two) : https://update3.ccmp.nl/
The images load lazy. When I set the attributes loading=eager nothing happens. When I enable ‘disable lazy loading’ then the images direct loaded.
What is wrong?

Hi Cees,
Thanks for reaching out!
What do you mean by “When I set the attributes loading=eager nothing happens”?
How exactly do you measure the difference, or is that a purely subjective impression?
Best regards,
timmse
@timmse He is trying to use this attribute on a background image. Refer to his other thread here. How to disable lazy-load on background image? - How To - Bricks Community Forum (bricksbuilder.io)
Hi @omega,
He’s not using a background image in his example, and as far as I can tell, the first two images are loading as fast as possible. If I scroll down the page, other images are lazy loaded.
Now the question is where is the problem
Hi, there first question is about lazy loading a background image indeed. But I have change it now to an image element with object-fit: cover.
The header image isn’t load as fast. When is enable 'disable lazy loading’ in the settings then the images direct loaded and doesn’t blink every time when I go to another page.
I will make a video asap.
Hi, here is the link where you can see what is happen:
Hey Cees, I’m not able to start the video
And a 2nd link : Monosnap
Hey Cees, thanks a lot for the video links!
Now I see the problem and can understand it much better
I’ve added it to our bug tracker.
Best regards,
timmse
Hey @ceescoenen ,
Bricks 1.6 beta contains a fix for this problem. However, we would be happy if you could briefly test whether the problem is fixed so that we can include it in Bricks 1.6 stable.
You can find the beta version in your account:
