SOLVED: Left panel expands and contracts in wrong ways after auto-expanding CSS

Browser: Chrome 130.0.6723.58
OS: Linux Mint 21.3
URL: https://staging.erasmus-campus.de/
Video: https://youtu.be/FhJA7JJtJ6o

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Add a class to an element
  2. Write a bunch of custom CSS for that class
  3. Stay on the CSS thingamabob in the left sidebar
  4. De-select the class
  5. Re-select the class or another class
  6. Repeat steps 4-5

Repro rate: eventually

Current Results:
The expand/contract feature that’s supposed to only work on the CSS field in the Layout tab in the left panel spills over into other controls, randomly expanding and contracting the whole panel, even un-expanding when one goes back to the CSS field from an expanded state.

See video above.

Notes:
Originally reported to Maxime as an Advanced Themer bug, but he suggests this may be a Bricks issue.

Hi,

so, I’ve tested this and here is the thing. I was not able to replicate you exact issue. The only way I can replicate it somehow, is that I have class selected and then I’m on Style → CSS (expanded), and I go to “Content”, where it collapses. But then I click on class, and it expands.

I can reproduce this part, but before I create a task, I’m wondering if you can reproduce the other issues without AT? Just to test this out.

Thanks.

I’m finding at least one more way. I made another video:

Hi,
thank you.

I think I narrowed it down a little bit and I’ve created an internal bug report for this.

Thank you!
