SOLVED: Lag when searching elements in builder with Firefox & Safari

After the last 2 updates, there is a considerable lack when typing/editing/clearing the input field to search elements in the builder. This happens both on Local as well as Live sites.

Problem persists even with no plugins installed.

Wanted to report the same thing, but thanks for staying on top of the bug hunting!

Firefox is our browser of choice, and we would love to see Bricks prioritise it alongside Chromium-based browsers in terms of inside-the-builder performance.

We’ve fixed this issue in Bricks 1.9.5, now available as a one-click update in your WordPress Dashboard.

Yes I can confirm it’s fixed in Safari too. Thank you for this! :slight_smile:

Here’s to hoping the Bricks team will make sure to set up automated tests for these types of tasks in each browser type (Chromium based, Mozilla based, and Webkit based) in the future. :pray:
