I tested every type and when I choose the type “Footer”, unlike the other possible choices, the icons to add things are missing.
As I said above, adding anything from the elements panel I try to add do not show.
I just did a virgin install 1.5 RC2 and the issue is there also.
So strange.

Hey,
Thank you very much for your report.
Can you possibly record a screencast and show what happens? I can’t reproduce the problem.
Best regards,
timmse
I tried another fresh virgin copy of a Wordpress install and the behavior was as expected this time.
On this container I updated Bricks in place: Loom | Free Screen & Video Recording Software
See there is nothing in the editor and nothing can be added.
I am going to attempts an uninstall and reinstall of Bricks next.
Thanks!
-John
Uninstall and reinstall while removing any plugins that would have any relationship to Bricks made no difference.

Could it be that you gave #brx-content a minimum height of 100vh somewhere (custom CSS), so that the footer is pushed out of the viewport? Can you scroll down?
It would seem like I did but I checked and no, I have not done that. I am using ACSS but testing before and after on my new container shows no issue.
I am migrating my development to my fresh install and it’s still working.
I am preserving the “broken” one for research.
Playing with the vh on the troublesome version makes no difference.
If I turn on the NAV (Header) template I created that shows on every page, that does show in the editor.

Hey John,
Would you be so kind as to send temporary login credentials and a link to this thread to help@bricksbuilder.io using the email address you used during the purchase? I think this way we will get to the root of the problem faster
Thank you in advance,
Best regards
timmse
I have preserved the state and so I will have to see if it can be migrated to my sandbox.
I will send infor to that email if I am successful.
Thank you
Well, I migrated using All In One to my sandbox and testing there the issue has dissappeared.
I migrated that same backup back over my localhost and the issue has disappeared there as well.
I suspect DB corruption at this point. WHY it got corrupted I do not know.
Feel freed to close this thread and if it comes up again I will be sure to let you know.
Thank you for your time, attention and responsiveness on this issue.

Hey @jmcbade ,
This thread is not closed. You can post as regular.
Please send us login credentials and a link to this thread to help@bricksbuilder.io so we can take a look.
I’ll quote from your new thread, which I’ll close now:
Bricks Version : 1.5
Browser : Firefox Dev (or any)
OS : macOS 12.5
I am going to presume Ngnix and PHP 8.1 are all ok.
Url/Login: I will provide to “help” upon request.
When trying to edit a Footer template, the content gets pushed below the bottom of the view port and can not be edited. A portion of the footer is always below the bottom of the browser View port.

Well this is frustrating. Did you do or change anything because my sandbox footer is editable now. I didn’t do anything.
If you didn’t, then this is problematic because for 24~48 hours it was not editable.
