SOLVED: Insert section layout pops up beyond the bottom of the screen

Bricks Version: 1.5 beta
Browser: Brave
OS: macOS
URL: n/a

I’ve just started creating a footer template so started with a section, then clicked on the container, and clicked on the blue layout button to add two DIVs but the little dark grey popup box with several layout options inside it appears below the actual viewport…you can just about see the top of it but you can’t select any of the options.

This popup really needs to know where the bottom of the screen is and open ABOVE the little row of buttons.

I hope this makes sense! If not, here’s a short video to explain…

Hi Ian,
Thanks again so much for your report!

Your screen recordings + explanations are always very helpful, appreciate it! :raised_hands:
I agree with you that it can be problematic in the footer. A simple, temporary fix is to insert another empty div or container below.

We’ll provide a fix for it

Best regards,
timmse

This should have been fixed in the latest 1.5 RC

The “Layout” inserter popup position is now taking all directions into account to not overflow.
