When using the on canvas dragging for padding and margin (example)
It seems to always reset to pixels or just won’t work. Is this a bug or are rems/ems etc not supported when using the drag controls?

I don’t think it’s a bug. It’s simply much harder to get it work properly with any other units than pixels.
Do you have a reference of a page builder where different units are used?
Yeah, Divi + Oxygen allow all their units to be draggable/adjustable on the canvas for padding/margins (just tested with rems, ems, vm and vh)

Yes I agree, this is limitation that should be addressed. I use this feature heavily in Oxygen with style sheets and Divi as well.
