SOLVED IN 1.4: Moving elements in structure panel fails

Bricks Version: 1.3. 6
Browser: edge on chromium and chrome latest.

It seems like I’m not the only one struggling with the structure panel. It ain’t always easy to place a container inside a container…

I have the same problem and it seems to occur randomly. Sometimes corrupting my structure and I have to rebuild the page from scratch. Very annoying, I would have hoped the structure panel bugs had been fixed my now!

Hi guys,

I agree that it can be a bit fiddly sometimes with empty containers. Some kind of workaround is to place another temporary element inside of the container, a heading for example, and then drag other containers into it. I know that this is not a final solution, but it will work as a temporary workaround.

We have already an open task that is related to UI/UX improvements of the builder. We’ll see if we can improve this in one of the next versions.

Best regards,
timmse

OMG this is even worse than Oxygen structure panel

Please do something… I created a container and it’s impossible to move.
Even with adding elements inside, even after saving/reloading.
There is no way we can build a site in this state :frowning:

Hi Yan,
Unfortunately, your comment is not very helpful. Feel free to record a screen video showing and explaining what is problematic for you. This will help us identify the problems. Thank you!
