SOLVED: HTML E-mail template doesn't seem to accept <style> tags

Hi,

Just copied an e-mail template made on 2 different e-mail builders (Mailjet and Beefree), and i’m always getting what’s inside the as text instead of being rendered.

Sample HTML code for testing:
— Can’t paste here as exceeds char limit, and can’t send as file.

Sample image of e-mail with the previous sample:

This is very important as Bricks doesn’t provide an HTML e-mail builder, so we need to use external ones.

Hi @frussane,

Welcome to the forum

Yes, you’re right! we also received this report through email recently and are working on it.

Thanks for the fast reply @charaf !

Spent a few hours trying to figure out what i was doing wrong :upside_down_face:

Any ETA on this? Got some client websites ready to launch pending on a solution since they have some complex e-mail templates.

If there is any custom code or snippet you could share for a fix before an update release it’d be much appreciated!

Loving Bricks so far, this was actually the first “problem” i’ve faced. Keep rocking guys!

Great to hear you’re enjoying Bricks

We already have a potential fix that should be included in the next release.

If this is urgent, please share temporary admin access to help@bricksbuilder.io and I’ll upload the fix to your site. Please include this forum thread’s URL in your email.

Hi Filipe,

We’ve fixed this issue in Bricks 1.9.9 beta, now available as a manual download in your account (see changelog).

Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

As with any beta release, please do not use it on a production/live website. It is only meant for testing in a local or staging environment.
