SOLVED: German Translation Error for WooCommerce V2 "State" Elements

Hi there,
I noticed a recurring translation issue in the German language pack regarding the word “State”.

Currently, “State” is translated as “Bundesland” (which refers strictly to a geographical state/region). In many contexts within the new WooCommerce Context, however, it refers to a status or condition, where the correct translation should be “Zustand”.

For example:

  • In the woocommerce-checkout-v2-state-checkout element label, it currently displays as “Bundesland”, but in this context, it refers to the state/status of the element rather than a region.

We have already received a report about this via email.
We’ll update this thread once there is a confirmed fix.

We’ve addressed this in Bricks 2.4-rc2 (release candidate), now available for manual download from your Bricks account.

German template-state labels now use “Zustand”; geographical address states retain their separate translation.

Please read the changelog entry before testing, and let us know if you experience any issues. Release candidates are not intended for production sites.
