SOLVED: Form submission access does not work if user doesn't have builder access

Browser: Chrome 130.0.6723.70
OS: Windows

Hi bricks team,

In Bricks > Form submission access settings, I enabled access for the editor role. But in the WordPress dashboard of the editor role, there is no way to access the submitted forms.

Hi @HOSEIN,

I’m unable to replicate the issue locally:

Can you try disabling all plugins? Make sure the editor role also has the edit_posts capability (it should already be enabled out of the box).

Hi @charaf,

Everything looks good, but it doesn’t display. There were no active plugins from scratch.

Hi @HOSEIN,

Oh yeah I can replicate it now! To replicate it, the user must also not have access to the builder. I added this to our internal bug tracker.

Nice! thank you @charaf,

Is there any update on this as still no access for users without builder access.

Not yet. But it should be fixed in our next update if everything goes according to plan.

Hi @charaf,

Please, if possible, see this suggestion related to this topic:pray:

Hi @HOSEIN and @jdp ,

We’ve fixed this in Bricks 1.12 BETA, now available as a manual download (Bricks – Account)

Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

You can see the full changelog here: Bricks 1.12 Changelog – Bricks

As with any beta release, please do not use it on a production/live website. It is only meant for testing in a local or staging environment.

Best regards,
Matej
