SOLVED: {featured_image} in component shows wrong image in builder

Have to edit the component, cut and paste {featured_image} to get it to display correctly for the current page. When you do this, however, it will show the wrong image on other pages.

So far, it seems to work correctly on the frontend.

I tried using a component for page heroes because of this issue. It’s very frustrating creating page templates in Bricks, and the bugs make a very unfriendly UI for editors. Once again, I have to resort to hiding the hero image in the builder and replacing it with a message that says, “Featured image will display on frontend.” :enraged_face:

Hi @glp,

I’m watching the video, and maybe I’m blind, or I can blame it on Monday :D, but what is the issue there? The image seems the same?

We’ve addressed this in Bricks 2.3.6, now available as a one-click update in your WordPress Dashboard.

Please read the changelog entry before updating, and let us know if you experience any issues.
